Bundoran Golf Course
Bundoran, County Donegal
Bundoran Golf Club was founded in 1894 and the existing 18 holes were originally laid out by Cuthbert Butchart, a golf professional and clubmaker attached to Royal County Down. Bundoran sits on top of cliffs overlooking Donegal Bay offering great views and little protection from the wind! Little has changed on this unpretentious links, including the ninth green tucked perilously close to a wing of the old Great Northern Hotel, the original Victorian hotel whose guests the golf course was created for.
