Strandhill Golf Course

Strandhill golf links occupies a compact spit of links territory in Sligo Bay between Cullenamore and Strandhill strands. At just under 6,200 yards it is not long but it offers a variety of holes from classic shoreline links to preplexing holes that negotiate towering sandhills and some holes in between. The classic holes are exemplified by the 5th and 6th while the perplexing holes are those such as the par-4 12th where a route to the green has to be figured out and the term 'unforgiving shortcut' is most apt.
